Meet Liz! She is the founder and creative arts director of the Greenhouse Creative Collective, a community-led initiative that focuses on supporting artists that historically have had less access to opportunities that enhance and recognize their creative capabilities. Liz graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL with a bachelor’s degree in Criminology and continued her education through the achievement of a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL. Prior to the launch of this arts-based collective, Liz served in the Peace Corps and collaborated with various non-profit organizations in countries like Myanmar, India, and Ghana. Liz is a multi-instrumentalist who has focused on building cross cultural relationships through art, music, and education. Liz has a passion for music and believes in the healing power of co-creating art in community spaces!
LAURA MUÑOZ
Meet Laura! she is the Wellness Director of the Greenhouse Creative Collective! Laura graduated from George Washington University in Washington, DC with a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs. For the last decade, Laura has focused on building multicultural and intergenerational communities with a focus on wellness, art, health, justice and inclusion. Alongside her community and advocacy work, Laura has been performing and teaching dance since her youth. She bridges holistic movement, joyful dance and creative expression to foster embodied healing as a personal and collective practice of transformation.
